Calling all film & animation students! Volunteering opportunity – Refuge4Pets, Cornwall

Refuge4Pets is looking for film students, animators who are looking to gain voluntary experience.  They are looking for a talented individual who can produce a short film, or animation about the charity and what it means to victims/survivors of domestic violence and abuse and their much loved animals.

Refuge4Pets is based in Cornwall and offers a pet fostering service to victims of domestic violence and abuse so that they can access refuge and other forms of emergency accommodation to start to rebuild their lives. Often individuals and families escaping violent and abusive relationships are unable to take their pets with them. In many cases this will stop people from leaving as much loved pets are frequently used as part of the pattern of coercion and control in violent and abusive relationships and pets are also often subjected to violence and abuse themselves and in some cases killed.
All pets that we foster receive any vet treatment that they need, food and bedding paid for by us. Pets will receive the best possible care from one of our pet foster carers while they are with us.

If you would like to get involved, please contact the charity on 07497382457.  Also take a look at our Student Guidelines for Volunteering Opportunities (1) before committing to the project.
