Voluntary Photographer/Videographer required – Shekinah (Plymouth)
What needs to be done?
Shekinah is looking for an
enthusiastic volunteer or small team to capture still and moving images,
raising awareness of homelessness and sharing good news stories, instead of
constantly seeing negative press. The assets will be used for
marketing/publicity purposes and the charity are also looking to build a
portfolio of photos in the various locations in which they work, so that they
are specifically relevant to the target audience.
Shekinah provides opportunities for people in recovery or seeking
recovery. This may include recovery from homelessness, drug and
alcohol issues, or mental ill health. Shekinah believes that everyone deserves
to be given another chance, and a passionate and dedicated team of staff and
volunteers have worked tirelessly over the years ensuring that people in crisis
are given a variety of opportunities to reach a secure and contented life.
How will your contribution help?
By volunteering on this project, you will be raising awareness of
homelessness in Plymouth and Torbay and helping to secure ongoing support for
the charity’s work. Your work will support the charity to give
people more information on their services and the challenges they face,
especially with the lack of accommodation and finances.
To be considered for this opportunity, please email your
portfolio/showreel to Sarah Holcombe by sholcombe@pca.ac.uk as soon as possible.
