Volunteers required - Fashion Fighting Poverty with Oxfam
Oxfam are looking for volunteers to collaborate with them on an exciting upcycling project, ahead of a Fashion Show taking place at the Plymouth Gin Distillery on 17th March 2020.
Volunteers are being asked to create and possibly model an outfit made largely from clothing donations from Oxfam, with a small budget for haberdashery. 6-12 outfits will be required for the show, and a theme will be agreed with the team when in place.
Outfits will need to be ready for the catwalk 2 weeks before the show and the models will need to be available to wear their own creation on the night, as well as being available for the rehearsal. You may also be asked to help out with modelling in other sections of the show.
See presentation for more information: Fashion Fighting Poverty with Oxfam
To be considered for this opportunity, please email Sarah Holcombe on sholcombe@pca.ac.uk by Monday 21st October. We also recommend that you check out our Student Guidelines for Volunteering Opportunities
