Freelance Textile Designer required for start-up business
Freelance Textile Designer required to work with a start-up business, which has been funded by the Natwest "Back Her Business" scheme.
You will be working with an artist whose work is focused on the psychology of domestic violence, using her paintings as the basis for your textile designs, which will then be used in the manufacture of clothing and accessories. Each item produced will have a helpline number covertly placed on it and 35% of the funds received from sale will be used to set up a deposit scheme to help women leave abusive environments.
As a freelancer you will be paid for your design and copyright and as the artist creates more paintings along the theme there will be scope for more textiles to design.
