Does it matter to you what kind of housing people can access, the care we provide for vulnerable children and how we manage the environmental impact of our waste? 

Adult social care. Education. Local democracy. Homelessness. Community Cohesion. 

All of these issues, and so many more, are the mandate of local government. Councils offer challenging work with a deep social impact, and they are looking for people as diverse as the communities they serve to lead this vast portfolio of public services.

The ngdp is a two-year, fast track management programme that gives graduates from any degree background:
·         the opportunity for rapid career progression in the public sector;
·         a bespoke Leadership and Management qualification that builds their knowledge of the public sector and develops management skills through on-the-job projects;
·         high-level work experience with a real human impact.
