0.8 Foundation Art and Design/Pre Degree Lecturer Salary: £19,568 to £24,753 (FTE £24,461 to £30,942) per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience) Closing Date: Monday 22 November 2021 We have a fantastic opportunity for a Foundation/Pre Degree Lecturer at Plymouth College of Art, to contribute to the continued success of our Foundation Diploma in Art and Design and Pre Degree courses in our Pre Degree Centres. Palace Court and Palace Studios house a unique educational experience for over 500 students from September 2016. All of which consistently perform well above national standards and continue to see rising recruitment. You will need to enjoy the creative challenges of working within a Pre Degree curriculum within this exciting, unique and successful specialist art school. This post is intended to be within our highly successful Foundation Diploma in Art & Design and Extended Diploma suite. You will have experience of delivering a range of practical skills within the creative industries to learners. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of fostering innovative and experimental practice in learners together with an ability to engage with the challenges of ensuring excellent delivery. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver an excellent learning experience and an interest in exploring innovative practice that engages learners in this exciting industry.
