0.8 Learning Lab Assistant - Plymouth College of Art

We are seeking to appoint a highly effective and motivated graduate with strong administrative and communication skills. The successful candidate will join our ‘Learning Lab’ and will work closely with the Learning Technology team, Employability and Careers team, the Senior Lecturer in Education and Development and Student Experience Officer. 

The postholder will support the Learning Lab with a range of projects that enhance the student experience and provide further opportunities for the development of crucial skills and knowledge to improve chances of success. Within these projects, the postholder will be required to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to foster a community of active engagement and support through a range of channels including social media and traditional platforms. The successful candidate will also be required to create and disseminate a range of marketing materials to promote projects to students and stakeholders so a creative spark is desirable. The postholder will also work closely with students and staff to promote and support the use of learning technologies across the institution, as well as providing administrative support to ensure the successful and effective running of our employability work, mentoring programmes and curriculum operations. Previous experience of supporting users with technologies and excellent IT skills are essential.
